ABOUT ME

I've been drawing pictures since before Kindergarten...

 

I liked drawing pictures so much that when it came time to go to High School, I was accepted to the
High School of Art & Design, in New York City.

Four years later, I headed West to California & settled in Lakeside! Home of Cowboys, Horses & Rodeos. Hee- Haw! Not owning my own pair of spurs, I enrolled in the Fine Arts Program at Grossmont College where I was going to learn how to become a Starving Painter & Sculptor and receive an Associates Degree.

Discovering a short time later that I enjoyed eating, but still wanting to draw pictures for a living, I enrolled in the Visual Communications (Graphic Design) Program at the school Walt Disney created — California Institute of the Arts (calARTS). There I learned from some of the giants in the Design industry about Color/ Design Theories & Principles, Typography, Pre & Post Printing Methods, Design History & More!

Since graduating from calARTS with a Bachelors Degree, I have worked as a professional in various design roles & responsibilities.

I am proficient in Adobe's Creative Suites & Microsoft Office Suites on both MAC & PC. I have hands-on experience designing & illustrating for Print, Web & Motion Graphics. I am confident as a Designer that I can produce highly creative visual solutions for any demographic or subject-matter.

I have the ability to work independently, without supervision; or as a team-player.
